If teachers, experts, consultants, etc. are looking for a method of teaching or communicating information online by broadcast pre-recorded videos, then GoStream is the efficient "assistant" for this. Simple operation, no need to download or install, easy to use even for those who have never livestreamed before.
Why should we re-broadcast recorded lectures?
Currently, there are many interesting forms of interactive teaching, what situations and motivations motivate teachers and experts to use the application to rebroadcast a lecture in the form of a livestream?
+ Re-broadcast the lecture on time helps create a habit for students, both reviewing knowledge and summarizing the taught lecture in the form of a livestream.
+ Re-broadcast old lectures in the community. It takes no time and effort to increase the coverage of your personal brand and be known by more people.
+ Avoid the risks that occur during the livestream by preparing a well-edited video lesson.
+ Alternative measures when unexpectedly busy, or unable to agree on a certain time frame with students. Re-broadcast lecture videos or shared lessons in the form of livestream will motivate students to watch all of them for fear of missing out, instead of sending video clips that will not bring motivation to students.
Use the GoStream tool and take full advantage of the benefits that livestream brings:
+ Re-broadcast video as live stream continuously for 4 hours with good picture and sound quality
+ Make voting gameshows, dialing lucky numbers on the livestream completely automatically without spending a lot of time for manipulating
+ Schedule a live stream, or even broadcast livestream periodically is extremely simple without taking many time for setup.
+ Automatically respond to students' comments, call to action through comments and inbox.
+ Summarize the information of the comments below the livestream and download it through an Excel file.
All those features are integrated in the professional live streaming tool GoStream

3. Edit the lecture and broadcast it as a livestream from the available video
To prepare for this, teachers and experts first need to prepare a series of pre-recorded video lectures or sharing sessions. Lectures saved on the computer, or posted on facebook, youtube, ... can be used to broadcast live.
Copy the link of the video (see illustration below)
Step 1: To conduct this video livestream, go to the link https://gostream.co/app/newstream/video or in the GoStream interface, click on “Automatic livestream - From pre-recorded video. Paste the copied link into the box. Then Press enter.
Check the box Agree to the terms of use and click Continue.
Note: If we have many videos and want to play them consecutively to prolong the livestream, we can continue to paste the link in the "Add video" box and press Enter second, third time,...
Watch: LIVESTREAM CONTINUALLY FROM MANY AVAILABLE VIDEOS, ON MULTIPLATFORM AT ONCE
Step 2: Go to the Livestream Configuration interface, teachers and experts will have a lot of options to edit your livestream. Here take notice of the following options:
In the Loop option:
Will allow us to create an hour-long livestream with only 1 short video available, helping to prolong the livestream time and increase the reach of customers.
Here, if you select No loop, that is after playing the entire video, it will stop. Select Infinite Loop to play again and again until the livestream time expires (depending on the subscription plan, you can stream the livestream with the maximum duration)
In the Resolution option: you can choose from 480p to a maximum of 1080p depending on the subscription plan.
You can see more detailed instructions for livestreaming here: HOW TO LIVE STREAM FROM AVAILABLE VIDEOS (FREE OF CHARGE, NO DOWNLOAD)
Step 3: Choose “Next” to move to the interface for setting the time and place to post the livestream
When you set up Time to Publish, you have 3 options:
Post now: After completing the setup steps, the livestream will be broadcast immediately to the selected platforms.
Post later: With this option, you can schedule the livestream in detail to every second with timelines such as day-month-year and hour-minute-second. Precise to every second.
Watch: SET LIVE STREAMING SCHEDULE, AUTO STREAM AT SCHEDULED TIME
Frequency: this option allows you to post your live stream periodically every week. The timelines are similar to “Post later” option, but you can choose to broadcast the livestream on weekdays from Monday to Sunday. You can choose multiple dates at the same time depending on your livestream purpose.
Choose Destination:
At the Add destination option, you can choose to post with your Facebook account and select post on your profile, fanpage or live stream on the Facebook group.
Or you can broadcast the livestream on the Youtube channel. Don't forget to add Title and Caption for each destination. Once done, select Add to save the destination.
In addition, you can broadcast a livestream at the same time on multiple places by adding multiple destinations. Simply repeat the Add destination steps until all desired destinations have been added.
Destinations will be numbered for easy control. You can also delete the destination if you detect a mistake in the operation.
Or you can choose to broadcast the live stream on YouTube by using RTMP. When using RTMP, you copy the website URL and stream Key and paste it into the configuration box. Then select Add as usual.
With RTMP, you can post livestreams on many other optional platforms.
Tracking live stream status:
After the system receives the livestream request, you will see the broadcast status monitoring interface as below. When the livestream is successfully uploaded and broadcast, the status will change from Processing to Streaming.
Or if you are broadcasting livestream on multiple destinations, and want to keep track of the status of all of them. Please select label “My Livestream” in the left status bar, the system will display all the livestreams created in the last 10 days.
For each livestream in the list, you can review information such as created time and status. In addition, you can work with 2 actions Copy source and Duplicate.
Copy source means create a new livestream with the same content and title as the selected livestream. You can customize the specifications like creating a normal livestream, then choose a new broadcast time and location.
Duplicate means that the system will immediately play a livestream with the same content and settings with the livestream you selected.
4. Text effect running in the lecture
Write a title so that students who join late to the livestream can still grasp the main ideas and goals of a lecture. Record assignments or things to do after the lecture finishes. Reminder time to check old knowledge.
And there are many ways we can use the Insert text feature when the livestream is being broadcasted.
Step 1: Initiate a playback livestream (or go to this link https://gostream.co/app/newstream/video), Select the video and enter the Title, then select “Next” to switch to Configure livestream
Step 2: To insert text, enter the text you want to insert into the box “Subtitle”, then select the setting icon on the right.
Then set the effect for the text like Scrolling (text will run from right to left) “Yes” or “No”. And set the Position for the text with the 6 default positions that GoStream suggested.
5. Insert logo into online lecture
In addition, with each teaching livestream video, we should also insert the logo into the lecture. Avoid cases of stealing textbooks, or video lectures being spread in many places without the permission of the teacher.
Step 1: Initiate a playback livestream (or go to this link https://gostream.co/app/newstream/video), Select the video and enter the Title, then select “Next” to switch to Configure livestream
Step 2: To insert a picture, you also select the setting button to the right of the “Frame” item. After the options panel appears, select Upload to upload the image you want to insert into the GoStream system.
Step 3: Optional image preview frame to match the frame size of the video.
For example, the video you want to broadcast is in landscape format, select PC (1280x720) or if the video you want to play is in portrait or square format, select Mobile (720x1280) to easily observe and adjust two parameters of the image.
Then, you proceed to set the size of the image (Top, Left) and the ratio of the image to the livestream frame (Width, Height). Remember to select OK to save the settings!
Review the settings again, if satisfied. Select “Next” to go to next steps.
6. Automatically reply to comments on livestream
First of all, teachers and experts need to have a live stream playing. The suitable time to set up this feature is right after posting a livestream. Copy the link of the livestream and follow the instructions below:
In the left toolbar select Marketing tools, select Auto reply comment option and then proceed to configure with information such as: account, destination of the livestream and finally paste the saved live stream link in the Link of livestream section.
After that select “Answer if you can find keyword”
At the reply configuration section, you need to complete the keyword section (conditions for the system to automatically reply) and the reply form (by message or comment).
First, add the keywords that you want the system to automatically answer. Each keyword is separated by a comma ",". Look at the example below - set up auto-reply comments for an online sales livestream.
Choose the form of reply by message or comment and enter the content of the automatic reply. Especially with the form of reply by message, you can insert an image into your auto reply syntax.
In addition, for teachers and experts who are running online courses. In the Partners section, we can choose Fchat to configure a chatbot script in the automated message to better attract and take care of students.
After configuring the answerer for the keyword, remember to save the changes. We can create additional sets of keywords for the same livestream link, modify existing keyword sets or delete them.
Furthermore, we can choose to Filter comments containing bad content, to limit unwanted content appearing on our livestream.
Select Hide comments containing phone numbers to better protect students' information.
After setting up the configurator Auto-reply comments for livestream, remember to select “Save” changes.
After saving, a link will appear in the Config History section. If you click on this link, you will be moved to the livestreaming interface, to see how the feature works at that livestream.
Also you can optionally delete the setting if you want.
Or you can watch a detailed tutorial video here: SET AUTO REPLY COMMENT ON LIVE STREAM BY GOSTREAM
7. Extract comments from re-broadcasted livestream
For re-broadcasted live stream, reviewing comments is extremely important to be able to keep track of student’s feedback.
Instead of wasting time filtering each student's comment on each teaching livestream. Using the Crawler Comment feature, you can completely summarize all the comments on the livestream on an Excel file to easily track, classify and ensure that there are no mistakes or omissions when updating information in manual way.
In addition, you can completely use this feature to extract comments from ordinary posts such as images or videos that can be extracted.
The steps are very simple. Teachers and Experts please select Marketing Tools and select Crawler comments section.
Enter information such as account, destination and post link (should be extracted after the livestream ends to ensure no comments are missed).
Then select the Export comments button in the upper right corner. Wait about 2 seconds, an Excel file containing all information about customer comments will be downloaded to your computer immediately.
